Dr.Chitralekha. BAMS, MD (Ayu)
Dr.Chitralekha is a Mysore based senior Ayurvedic consultant, researcher, and an author in South India, Karnataka.
Alma mater- Bangalore University & Kayachikitsa from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
She received her Bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Bangalore University and subsequently earned her Master’s degree in Kayachikitsa from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. She is also certified in Acupressure and Teletherapy.
Experience: Dr. Chitralekha has over 20 years of experience in clinical research, primary care, and clinical practice. She is specialized in the management of allergic skin ailments, arthritis, low back pain, gastrointestinal disorders, diseases of the liver, gall stones, and asthma. She is one of the few Ayurvedic physicians who practice Marma touch therapy. She has been conducting free health camps and workshops in Mysore from the last ten years. She has to her credit several published articles on Ayurveda and related topics. She is the Founder-director of Mysore Ayurveda Academy and Wellness Centre, Mysore.
Her primary goal is to preserve and promote the principles of Ayurveda for the benefit of society at large. She is passionately involved in increasing Ayurvedic lifestyle education and training by sharing the wisdom of Ayurveda.

- Aturasya Vikar Prashamanam (Therapeutics): to get rid of/to treat the disease in a diseased person/relief from the misery of suffering/help people from miseries, sorrow, and sufferings.
Ayurveda provides guidelines on all modalities of life so that healthy people can stay healthy and people with health challenges can improve their health.
Ayurveda further emphasizes that life is the balance of body, mind, and spirit.
